Handlettering Gift Guide for the New Baby

I’ve got baby on the brain!  Our church has 2 baby boys due in the next couple of months (which is a big deal in our little church family!).  If you’re Facebook feed is like mine, pregnancy & birth announcements are all over.  On top of all that, I’m currently 13 weeks along with baby #4!  Exciting new beginnings are everywhere.  If you’re looking for something sweet & simple to add to your gifts for expecting & new parents, look no further than these Lettering Laine prints.

Now, there are couples who choose to wait until the birthday to find out the gender of their baby.  I’m not that patient or laidback.  I need to plan ahead!  BUT, if you’re trying to buy for one of these babies, you can take inspiration from these gender neutral prints.

For globetrotting parents or if the little one’s nursery will have a travel theme, this print is a perfect little gift.

These next 2 were intended for a celestial-themed nursery & are perfectly neutral. First, a little Coldplay lyric to accent your little one’s walls! (You can see a behind-the-scenes process post about this very piece here!)

Know a family that’s expecting a baby boy?  Here are some of my favorites – some of which have at some point been in my boys’ room!

This cute woodland-themed print is just too fun.  And it comes in a variety of background colors.

If the parents are going for a baseball or sports-themed room for baby, try this quotation from the legendary Babe Ruth.

If baby boy has a big brother waiting to meet him, this piece is a great option!

One more for the boys - this quote from Peter Pan is a favorite!

Last but definitely not least, let’s talk about baby girls!

I love this phrase from the song “Edelweiss” for a girl’s nursery. I feel like it’s exactly what we’re looking to see our children do – flourish as they grow!

I’m always looking to expand my collection of pieces for baby & kids rooms (check back often for new products).  I think these rooms are the perfect place to incorporate a lettering piece or 2 of your favorite lullabies, Scripture, quotations, & song lyrics.  So, if you have an idea of a piece you’d like me to create for you, send me a message! And it doesn’t have to be a print – wooden signs or fabric banners are all great options, too! I’d love to help bring your vision to life!

Cheering you on!
